Andi Rivas got Art degree by Granada University, but last year finished in Tilburg (Holland), where get into some publications and creative. Meanwhile in Spain is awarded by Fernando Quiñones  painting price, Cadiz.
In 2003 joined a collective exhibition in Madrid: Domestico´03. Together with some others spanish artist. On april in the same year: the first solo exhibition in Islahabitada Art Gallery (Cadiz, Spain) introducing "Apocalipsis sobre Cádiz".
In 2005 get an institutional fee: Fronterasur 05. Then he start  Emotive Project, a new project together with other Cadiz artists. Emotive became soon an creative studio, working and awarded in the whole country. Here he works on animation, illustration, design,video and art. Emotive project works for comercial clients like Sony Music BMG, Málaga Film Festival, Notodofilm, Hy Chain (European Hidrogen Challenge), Cadiz city Hall, Andalussian Goverment...while working in some others artistic projects as "Onoplástica" (solo exhibition), Down Baluarte and FIVAD (independent Festival of videoart), and colective exhibitions in Barcelona, Madrid, London, Rome...
In 2007, Emotive Project won the "Cádiz Ciudad Constitucional Design Awards". In the same year, "Versus" is presented in a big collective exhibition, "Geopolíticas de la Animación", in the Modern Art Museum of Sevilla (CAAC) and Vigo (MARCO).
Same year he introduced "Organico" in Sevilla and Cadiz, produced by Cajasol, You

Andi Rivas licencia en BB.AA. en la Universidad de Granada, acabando su último año de carrera en Tilburg (Holanda), dónde publica en diversas revistas y realiza varios proyectos. Siendo galardonado en dos ocasiones con el premio Fernando Quiñones de pintura, Cádiz.
En 2003 participa en una exposición colectiva en Madrid: Doméstico´03, con varios artistas nacionales.
En Abril de ese mismo año, llega su primera exposicion individual en la galeria Islahabitada presentando “Apocalisis sobre Cádiz", posteriormente varias exposiciones colectivas.
En 2005, y con motivo de la concesión de una de las becas de Fronterasur, co-funda el colectivo de experimentación audiovisual Emotive Project, donde desarrolla proyectos de animación, ilustración, diseño gráfico, video y arte. Emotive Project realiza trabajos comerciales para clientes de la talla del Festival de cine español de Málaga, Notodofilmfest, HyChain,plataforma europea del hidrógeno, Sony Music BMG, Ayuntamiento de Cádiz, Junta de Andalucía, Canal Sur.., que combina con trabajos de un carácter más artísticos como las exposiciones individuales “Onoplástica”, Down´06 y FIVAD y las colectivas en Barcelona, Madrid, Sevilla, Cádiz, Londres, Roma...
En 2007, Emotive Project recibe el Premio Cádiz Ciudad Constitucional de Diseño, por su video-creación “Big bang”, y realiza “Versus”, video-instalación que recorre varias exposiciones colectivas tanto nacionales como internacionales. Destacada, "Geopolíticas de la animación" en el CAAC de Sevilla y el MARCO de Vigo.
En ese mismo año presenta en Sevilla y Cádiz su obra en solitario "Orgánico", que realiza producida por Cajasol dentro del XLIII Certamen de jóvenes creadores Caja San Fernando.
En 2008 decide emprender su camino en solitario, y realiza la videoinstalación "Road Movie", que se presentó en La Casa de Vacas del Retiro en Madrid, en el Festival "Tentación Madrid", y que ha estado presente en colectivas en España, México y Noruega.  Participará en el certamen de vídeo joven internacional en Casablanca, Marruecos, el próximo año.
Actualmente trabaja en su propio estudio de diseño e ilustración, RD2. Donde junto a su hermano Carlos Rivas realiza proyectos de dirección artística y creativa, diseño gráfico y vídeo, combinando estos trabajos con su carrera artística más personal.  
Recientemente ha sdo galardonado con el premio del concurso del cartel de Carnaval de Cádiz 2009 y el del Cartel de Carnaval de Madrid 2009.
